Hello,

I got my front disc rotor/pads replaced from a local mechanic
the brakes work fine but the ABS light does not come on during startup sequence..

ABS used to work fine earlier ;(

Please suggest some solutions.

Does it not work at all or does the light just not come on? Could just be burnt out.

It does not work at all.
The car just skids through when breaking(especially on declines)

The light doesn't come on during startup. Could a blown up fuse cause ABS to malfunction?

Maybe the bulb in the cluster is burnt out. A malfunction in the ABS system would cause the light to come on.

Are you sure you have ABS brakes? The US model 2001 Accord DX did not have ABS as a factory option, unless they were added by someone later. Is there an ABS pump under the hood?
