My 2004 wiper motor seems to have gone bad. I looked at the pdf file to try to replace it myself. However, the diagrams aren't clear enough. Specifically, can anyone explain the point number 5. in the installation guide which says "Scribe a line...". I am new at doing things myself, hence any help is appreciated. What all tools will I need to get this done?
Here is a link to 1A auto parts. They have a simple video on wiper motor replacement on a older honda accord (I know not the same year as yours) but it should answer the scribe question you have from the maintenance manual. It is a simple reference mark so when you install the new motor its at the park position. Hope this helps...
