Do you often keep a heavy bookbag or purse on the passenger seat? It's my understanding that if there's weight in the seat but not enough to be considered and "adult" it will disable the airbag.
I know what you mean, but nothing is in my seat when I start the car or when it's running. When my 70lbs dog is riding shotgun, she'll randomly set off the sensor and the seat belt warning will sound but the airbag light is always on.Do you often keep a heavy bookbag or purse on the passenger seat? Well that makes me feel less safe, I'm not sure where these modules are.Well when one of you airbags doesn't work, none of them work. It like christmas tree lights...atleast that is what I was told when I had an issue with the passenger side head airbag...if thats really the case than you have a serious safety issue. They replaced my entire SRS module which I think sits near the center console.
