I feel like I got a good deal on the trade-in, it had some minor damage in the front wheel well, some noticeable paint pitting from who-knows-what on the gas cover and adjacent body panel, a ding in a passenger door and the original factory Hankook tires with 33,000 miles on them. Also needed B1 maintenance.

I'm amazed at some of the deals in this thread. Two different dealerships refused to budge from MSRP and a third had a $2k over MSRP "Market Adjusted Price" due to the incredibly low inventory that they also refused to budge on even after I walked away. But since it took a month and a half of looking in three major cities to find a single Touring Silver Hybrid they feel they can get away with it. And tracking website inventory, they apparently can because the cars sell. So definitely didn't get a deal, but at least got the car I wanted and got a good deal on my trade-in.


Definitely knew things were going to be crazy when went to the largest Toyota dealership in my home city when I was car shopping and they had exactly 1 Camry on the entire lot and it was being picked up in an hour by someone who had already claimed it. And there was only two Sonata's on the entire Hyundai lot.

They really were not budging unless I had proof which is hard since other dealerships do not want to give you any quotes.
