Hi all I have a Honda Accord 2001. My friend scanned my car and the p1739 code came up. No check engine light comes on at all. What could be the issue ? It has something to do with transmission. Also my transmission fluid is full.

Does the transmission exhibit any strange symptoms?

Did your friend reset the computer after scanning? I'd do that first and see if it comes back after a few drives. Sometimes they cough up a code out of nowhere and you never see it again.

If it does come back then you probably need to start troubleshooting with the p1739 flow chart from the service manuals enne posted in the stickies. Chapter 14-86 or page 596.

p1739 is a problem with the tran's 3rd pressure switch. Could be a bad connection and never show up again, a problem with the wiring, or the pressure switch going bad. I know over time they can drift meaning the on/off pressures change with age but I don't know how far out it has to be to trigger that code, I'd think you would notice hard or weird timed shifting first, as enne asked about above.
