I just recently bought a used 2004 Accord Ex with manual trans. I took my first road trip today and about 45minutes into the drive, the radio acted up. I was using the CD changer when all of a sudden the screen clears. The backlight is still lit but nothing shows up. I then hear static as if it went to AM mode. I hit the power button and the radio turns off, yet the screen is still blank. About 2 minutes later the display slowly fades back in. I turn the unit back on and the radio plays normally on FM. I hit the CD button and the display said 'CD ERR.' I pulled over, stopped and restarted the car, hit CD changer and everything worked fine. I had no problems for the rest of the drive. On my way back, it did the same thing, this time about an hour into the drive. I searched the forums but noone had my same exact symptoms. Does anyone know what could be going on?
