My car is stuck in park please help

Do you have any error codes? Do your brake lights turn on when you press the brake pedal? You can bypass the park lockout by prying off the small plastic cover next to the shift knob and inserting the key, your users manual will have more detailed instructions.

There is no error code generated when the brake pedal switch is damaged or broken, most likely the brake lights will stay on because the only time the power line is interrupted is when the brake pedal is pressed and that’s when the light goes on. So a damaged switch is constantly on

There is a solenoid in the console that is activated when the brakes are pressed, that allows the shifter to move out of park. If the horn blows the fuse is good (same circuit).

Is that solenoid making a click noise when you press the brakes.
