I have a 2006 Accord the was only blowing hot air on driver side. Took it in for repair and they replaced the expansion valve, receiver drier, schrader valves, and in-cabin filter. Now each morning it still blows hot air on driver side but when i turn the driver side setting to extreme low it will start cooling. The next morning I have to go through the same procedure and it will cool for the day. Any suggestions?

TXV (expansion valve) and receiver drier (basically a line filter) are usually adjunct repairs sold with other AC work; schrader fittings are where the refrigerant is added to the system. I'm not sure why they replaced these parts unless you had a refrigerant leak, but even then, repairing the leak and doing an evacuate+recharge should have been enough. Usually you see TXV and R/D issues when the system has been contaminated by a shelled compressor. Cabin air filter has nothing at all to do with output temperature from the vents, only air flow.

I suspect the air mix door (blend door) in the evaporator case is binding up or the actuator is failing; turning it to max cold may be unsticking it, allowing it to work for awhile. It could also be a problem with the a/c control head.
