long story short I have a short ram intake on my 06 Honda accord it’s an rtunes racing intake and anytime I’ve tried to change the filter my car want’s to stall or will stall and when I put the original filter it came with It works just fine currently I changed the filter again to a spectre filter and this time it threw a code p0171 everything this is nice and tight but I don’t know why it keeps giving me trouble anytime I change the filter

Sounds like you already got it narrowed down to the filter lol
A P0171 code is set by your vehicle's powertrain control module (PCM) when it detects that the air-to-fuel ratio of your vehicle is too lean
"Too lean" means not enough gas. In other words too much air. Cover up parts of your new filter media with duct tape until it starts running fine. Then you will have proven to yourself that you should have never bought that filter.
