Can someone please advise me how to rectify a problem with my clock/temperature display ?
The screen shows up bright and clearly when ignition is switched on and during 1st 10 mins of
journey. The screen then flickers on and off then shows a greyish display. When it first began I
banged the dashboard above it and it resolved the problem but now only reappears for a millisecond
during the effect of the bang !

Need a picture. Most of us here are Yankees or Canucks (Canadians), and I suspect UK Accords are quite different from their North American brothers.

But if beating on it fixed it for a bit, then it sounds like an internal problem, like bad solder joints, bad electrical connections, etc.
