Hi All,

I have 2008 EXL 4 cylinder.
Whenever I move the headlight switch to OFF position, the headlights are still slightly on. But the intensity is too low. Initially it went unnoticed but now i got it.

Is that a normal behaviour?

Uh, are you referencing the high beam lights (those two that are closer to the center of the car) being "slightly on"?

If so, then you are describing the Day Time Running Light, commonly known as DRL, and they are doing exactly what the system is suppose to do.

Also try this just to confirm, face the car towards a large window so you can see the lights, keep the parking brake on when you start the car, the DRL will not be on, but they will come on as soon as you release the parking brake.

Welcome to DA.
