So I recently purchased a 2011 Honda accord and love it so far. I noticed that the passenger map light was out and decided to just replace all the lights with LED's. I poped open the covers and put in the new LED bulbs and it still did not work. I read that sometimes it is the switches so to try that out I swapped the switches and the driver worked just fine but the passenger still did not light up. I decided to unplug the wires and take a closer look at it...... didint know what I was looking for so I just plugged it back in and now neither of them turn on. I am at a lose here :|

If an LED bulb doesn't work, often times you just have to flip the bulb itself and put it back in, so the polarity is reversed.

I recall most LED bulbs have this warning on their package.

There are some LEDs that don't care about polarities, but if I plug one in and it doesn't work, I try flipping it first.
