When I totaled my new car and picked up my insurance check, I drove STRAIGHT to the bank and deposited it. Even with it being a check, I still didn't want to leave it in the car or on me any longer than I had to.

We WITHDRAWAL it from our bank, we had to make a quick stop at Target to pick up things. This never happened before, but of course when we get a loan, it happens.

People wait at places like banks to follow you so they can get your shit. They do this at car meets too when people have expensive speakers

He's venting. Sometimes people clam up after an emotional incident, and other times they want to share it and take in some empathy. Been there.

A few months ago, I closed all of the accounts I had for decades after PNC bought my bank and ruined it. Even though it was a cashier's check, I was still nervous while leaving PNC and heading to my new credit union.
