I've had my 8th gen since August 2015 & it has almost 78k on it but I dont need brakes yet, just trying to get a boost on standard. Ive heard good things about Hawk & EBC but seems easier to find EBC & the price point is a little easier to swallow.

Its a daily driver, 10 miles every day all street but Im on the highway at least once a week & every other week 180 miles round trip

I was thinking Red Stuff for the proclaimed improvement over stuff & theyre supposed to be low dust

Im not dead set on EBC so suggestions are welcome & appreciated. I had Brembo pads on my 97 accord & (GOSH GEE WHIZ!) did they make a difference but it seems hard to find compatability for the EX-L package

Autoanything has Hawk & EBC for a pretty reasonable price, I'd say. Then again, I'm only familiar with brake parts prices for an Acura TL of your vintage, so that's a different story. As to which one to go with? Hawk is killer, I've tried a set of their pads in a TL with Baer Decela rotors and it stopped on a dime. I imagine EBC is probably a similar story. Stock pads are good, but either one will definitely be better.
