Hey guys! Thought I would post pics of my car at night showing the front and rear. I got it Monday when I traded in my '12 Accord EX-L V6 that I had bought back in July when my '98 Civic overheated and kicked the gasket. I was impressed with the '13 that I could not help myself knowing that I will be with this car until it meets its maker ( no pun intended ) and also I go on alot of business trips in my area. When I test drove the car it only had 5 miles on it. I got a good trade in value for my '12 which was about 2 gran over the blue book and black book price plus I got a little over 2 gran worth of warranties in refunds back which I placed a down payment on the '13. I also was able to score a %2.94 APR interest too. Overall I like the handling of the car and when you sit in it, it doesn't feel like you are sitting in a booster seat. The leather bucket seats are very comfortable and it seems like the leather is much softer then the '12. Also the Modern Steel Metallic gives off a lavender hue at night as you can see which is pretty cool. I will post more pics when I give it a wash this weekend. Anywho without further ado.

Congrats on the new car.. wow you sold your '12 really fast.. You should have waited for the 2nd year model at least.. you had a V6, great car... or should have waited for the 10th generation.. I'm sure that will be much much more improved.. Either way good luck with your new car..

Thanks guys! Yeah I jumped on it quick. I got a good trade in value for the '12 I heard about the rumored V8 on the 10th gen. From what my friend at the dealership said, this gen will last 5-6 years just in time for me to get the next gen once I pay this one off first haha.

I am in a similar situation, tomorrow I am going to trade in my '13 RDX for the 2013 Accord EX-L V6 Navi. I wasn't sure I was going to like the new Accord but from my couple of test drives and research, it has almost everything that I liked in my 2003 Accord LX (reliability, handling, practicality, comfort) and almost everything that I wish I had in it (power, quietness, upgraded technology, colour). Also didn't hurt when the dealer took off $1700 from the OTD price  All that will be required is to add the all-season floor mats and the window tint; maybe the sound system one day but the stock audio isn't that much worse than the Tech package sound system to my ears. Sunday is going to be very busy indeed.

Yeah. I spent several days crunching numbers before I made the trade to make sure my monthly will be close to what I was paying when I had the '12 and it ended up being only 60 bucks more which worked out for me budget wise. Getting the %2.94 APR helped ALOT!

Detailed the car today. Results:

I use mainly Meguiars products and invisible glass for the windows, eagle one products for the tires.

I am sure I can though when I showed her the M35 we saw on the road when I was taking her to the Asian market, she really liked the design. she really likes my car and was taking pictures of it when I was detailing my car to show to her co worker. hehe

Congrats on your new 2013 bro!!! I use pretty much only Meguiar's on my car too for everything except my tire shine....:DI had a quick question though, have you gone 80 MPH in it yet, if so whats your RPM reading on the tachometer? I'm right at about 2400rpm's in my 2012 coupe V6 vs my 07 Accord sedan SE I4 @2800RPM's.

Are you serious?? Is that with the Eco button on? That's a 6 speed right? Should be lower. I'm right at about 2800rpms @90mph. Well when you find out let me know thanks again....

No not with Eco enabled. Next time I go on a business trip I will check out the Eco feature and see just how much gas I can save. It's a 6-Speed Automatic. I could be wrong about the tach revs, it could very well be around under 2500.

That looks really good. I was worried about Modern Steel being a re-badged version of Polished Metal, but it looks different and I like it a LOT more.

Makes me feel a lot better about the 6MT models only being available in limited colors. I'll take mine in Modern Steel.

It's much better color then alabaster silver metallic. I wasn't too keen on that color when I had my '12 EX-L V6 but it was the only trim they had left in the lot and my friend who works at the dealership was able to knock $4500 off the MSRP. The hematite color someone posted looks really slick. It would have been a tough decision if they had that color in the lot too when I got my '13. It's good to have a friend working at a dealership since you know they will take good care of you!

Hey Jay,

Check the revs on the tach when I was rolling 80 down the interstate going home just earlier. My revs are 2300RPMs going 80.

Thanks man  that's so weird especially with the 6 speed:dunno:. It has another extra gear to go into idk.... Seems me and you use the same amount of rev's and mines a 5 speed, I will double check tomorrow after I pick my car up from the dealership....
