Anyone knows or use the correct speaker harness for use of aftermarket speakers? I been searching on Crutchfield and it's giving some part of a 1990+ harness and other place gave me a 70-1729. Can anyone verify the connect part #?

I tested it. If you want you sound to improve a lot, get amp and all the necessary for a complete sound system.

Hmmm, I was actually impressed with the "shitty" speakers that came in my accord sport. All I did was add a sub/amp combo along w some extra tweeters & I was good to go... Great part tho, thanks for the share!!

did you notice any bluetooth issues after you installed the amp?
like echo or anything like that? or any other issues with HFL?

If you are adventurous (or cheap), you can take the OEM connector apart with a small flat bladed screwdriver--after unplugging from the speaker, press down on the retaining tab where the wires exit, then gently pull the "hood" up, then place your screwdriver blade in the small slot, twist gently to release the retaining clip. Now hold the plug so you can see the connectors, place the blade to release each of the retaining clips while gently pulling on each wire. The wires have the same sized female clips which can be deformed slightly to accommodate the aftermarket speakers.

This can be done on a number of Honda automobiles at least from 1999 to present.
