2014 Accord Electrical Problems?

This article says to stay away from the 2014 Accord because of electrical problems. Are there owners out there who have this problem too? Or has your 2014 been rock solid?

Never heard of that site before.

Almost 2 years with my 2014 Accord Sport, I purchased it with 29k and am approaching 64k miles now. Haven't had any electrical problems whatsoever. Overall a solid car.

I’ve been an Accord owner for many years and put hundreds of thousands of miles over those years on quite a few different gens of Accords. Never had electrical issues. The only issue I’ve encountered with the 9th gen was the carplay navigation feature on my 16 ex. The radio is my only complaint but I solved that with a stand alone Garmin unit. I also have a 13 ex with no electrical problems. The 9th gens are very solid in my opinion. Maybe one day there will be some aftermarket radio options for us.

Replaced the starter on my 2014, now with 113,000+ miles. Also upgraded battery to a 24. No other problems.

V6 - replaced starter too. Also VSA modulator went bad and I replaced it. Battery lasts about 3.5-4 years before I prefer to replace it because it is cranking slower in the winter. Part of that could be that the car takes a lot of relatively short trips.

They say 2012 Accord is best. Guess I'll have to roll the dice :)
according to what it describes as common problems.

I do find the seating to be a bit uncomfortable, especially on long drives.
Electrical issues: I've had to replace the starter twice

-Dont have oil consumption issues
-Dont have fault power door locks.

For this with a 2014, or close in age, how is the interior holding up? Two I'm looking at (none with over 80K miles) have really worn out driver's seats. Kinda surprised given overall Honda quality, especially on the inside.
Electrical issues?? That’s the one issue I have never had in any Accord I’ve owned (3 so far). Replaced the battery in my 2014….probably that is the biggest “electrical” issue I’ve had. Oh, and one bulb too lol. 100k miles so far.
