After almost a year of looking at many cars and at first crossing off the Coupe and getting close to spending a lot more on a different brand, I have come back to Honda and really do believe the Coupe V6 Navi will be my next new car, but my dilemma is I really prefer white but just don't feel the love for the Ivory/black interior, I really prefer the full black interior, problem is no way will I do MSM, Black, Blue, or Tiger Eye, best choices for me are Silver or Red, but neither are saying buy now.

Anyone know Honda history of offering new color options at the third year of the current platform? If I had some idea that Honda would offer in 2015 what the Canadians get right now I would wait another year to get my white exterior and black interior. Last November I was almost ready to get a white Coupe but the interior stopped me, I thought maybe in 2014, well, it is almost a year later and I am thinking the same thing, just wait a little longer, it would be a second car so it is not absolutely necessary to get the car anytime soon.

Honda, please don't make me spend an extra 20k just so I can get my colors of choice!

Even the previous generation coupes didn't offer black interior with white exterior in the US so I wouldn't get your hopes up. If they do make a change it probably won't be until 2016 which is when the 9th gen should get a mid model refresh if they stick to their normal pattern.

Thats what I am thinking, even the 2012 Coupes still had the Ivory leather. Guess I will have to decide between white or silver exterior and live with what I get, I am leaning silver.

i wouldnt pay 3-5k more for navi, with google maps available, nav isnt really needed, just my opinion. The lady even talks and navigates via bluetooth from your phone.

Would only get a 6cyl for the headlights.

I had the same dilemma. I liked the white but I didn't like the two tone interior. My second choice was the red. I think the San Marino Red looks fantastic on the coupe. It's a color that's not available on the sedans so it stands out in the crowd. I like it so much that this is the second one I own in that I color. My 16 year old son has inherited my 2000 Accord San Marino Red Coupe.

I would not opt for the navigation system because it's expensive, only the dealers can upgrade the maps it's and it's not the best GPS unit available. If you don't like the phone method than a good portable GPS can be purchased for about $100 with all the bells and whistles. The nice thing about the portable is that you can take it with you when you go by air and rent a car and in a couple of years you can throw it away and upgrade when new GPS features are available.

I would go for the navigation system in the sedan if I were a realtor or some other kind of salesman. I have a portable GPS and I don't use it very much because I know where I am going in my daily routine.

Unless you are a headlight maven, I am very happy with the I4 and the CVT. The engine runs as smooth as a V6 and has a wide torque band that accelerates the car smartly. The CVT transmission is the smoothest automatic I have ever driven. It always chooses the best gear ratio for the situation because it has no gears and it's variable. The drive train combination allows the car to get over 30 MPG in mixed city and urban freeway driving. If you opt for the EX-L you also get the paddle shifters which are an added amusement toy.

I think the red looks great, but just not sure in the long run it would be the wisest choice, attracting cops is the first thing I think of, white has always been tops for resale value, just my personal opinion but I think white is more of a mature color, red screams youth ( I am 58 )
I think the sculpted lines of the car really work best with white. I guess I need to see white, red and silver all at once at a dealer, maybe it comes down to a coin flip. Navi is an individual thing separate from color choice. I will say that the other more expensive car offers all sorts of interior options with white exterior, black, red, medium brown interior.

I just visited a dealer in Puente Hills Ca today and looked at a 2013 white Navi with black/ivory interior, this dealer said they can take care of my request for a full black interior, $1595 and they will back it with a full Honda warranty, since this is a 2013 they want cleared out they are willing to sell this car (without the interior mod) for $30,900 out the door, I would have to add the additional $ at the time of sale to have the interior covered under warranty, if I chose to have it done at a later date no warranty. I am certainly intrigued by this deal since I have always balked at the two tone interior. In fact they had about 30 color options for the interior change, even red is available to replace the ivory color!

Pearl White only comes in Ivory two tone leather. But I think the Ivory Interior would look pretty cool with the Pearl White Exterior? I use to have a black on black car and a black on tan and the tan definitely kept it cooler inside. Personally would save the money and keep it un-altered.

This is weird because when I was shopping for my White coupe v6 non navi, I found the dealer at Avery Honda in Vallejo, CA, had both the duo tone and full black version. I picked the duo tone. Didn't know it was an aftermarket choice? I'm certain it comes in all black interior if you looked at another dealer without having it as an extra cost.

Have you looked into the 2014 Civic if you don't need more room and don't want more tickets due to bigger engine? They added CVT to it and that thing gets 35 mpg combined now and is way better in city mileage then the Accord hands down. styling is better too.

It could be a long wait to find out what they change in 2015. As recently as a month ago, no one knew that 14 Civic will get a CVT.

Having said that, considering how stubborn Honda is with the color selections, I think it's highly unlikely they will offer a different interior "option" for an existing exterior color. Just witness all the threads about the drab color selections for cars with 6MT. People asked why, and Honda answered, that's just the way it is.

i just leased a black exl with black interior very nice..
as for the White with Ivory n black, that would be failrly ez to make it all black, as the dealer offers that option if u ask... also with simple imagination one can make the headrest a different color to give your car some kick... i personally plan on making my two front seat heardrests in red, just for fun...
good luck all happy holidays...

Take it the way it is

Take the car the way it is then swap out your two tone interior with someone who has black interior.

Americans need to start responding with their wallets and choosing Honda. (I know, I should not talk)
