Title. Also the block heater doesn't seem to do anything to help keep the engine warm on those extra cold days (-20's). Both seemed to work well the first year I owned this car, now they don't seem to be funtioning at all. I get ice buildup on my wipers and can run the car for a half hour with the defrost on full blast and windshield warmer turned on without any improvement.

I've heard this generation starts acting up when the battery starts to go bad. Possibility? I'm on the same battery I bought the car with.

Anyone else experiencing any of these issues?
