I guess I have 4 broken lug nut studs in my front left tire. What should a repair for this usually cost from a mechanic?

We broke a lug nut on my buddy's car a few years back - cost $80 to replace the stud (parts and labor). May be less labor per lug if they're doing all 4.

How'd you end up with 4 on one wheel? collision, or did they get over-torqued?
I just replaced one of mine today. I pounded out the broken stud and replaced it with a new one. Not too hard. I paid $2 for the bolt at Autozone. The dust shield got in the way. I bent the shield back a bit to gain access to the bolt's hole. Here's a link.

The last time I had it done, my mechanic charged me 45 (parts and labor) for one. Good luck with it.
Did your mechanic tighten them to much? If so, take back to him.
Autozone didn't have the right size, but they had a size that fit, but now my alignment is off I think...
