Hi,

I went to my local audio shop asking them if they could install this:

DD HU
Amp
Sub
Component speakers

It's for a 2008 accord coupe. I don't have a sub box or any wires, but I have a dash kit, wiring harness, and antenna adapter. They quoted me $400...do you guys think this is a fair price?

if u have no clue i guess it would be fair....also depends on what kind of box they are using...if its some cheapo pre made then no...but if they are going to build a box specifically for your application then yes...i just bought an amp wiring kit for 40 bucks and installed the amp myself...most places will probably charge 100 bucks or so to install an amp though...ask for price breakdown

dd=double din aka double the size of an ordinary aftermarket Single Din cd player

not a bad price. but don't forget if you ever want something right, do it yourself. it's really hit or miss at shops with the installer being a jackoff or a good guy. aranoid:

I just called Mobile One here in Houston and for a 97 Accord installing 2 amps, Sony HD Radio with Ipod connection HD Module, 4 speakers came out to $249. So I guess you can compare it to that price.
