I just replaced my stock hood, with an OEM hood. The stock one had a dent on it, so I replaced it. Everything is the same on the replacement hood, but when I put the hood down, it catches on the hood latch, but it doesn't lock...WHY THIS HAPPENING..AHHHHHHH:dunno:

Adjust your hood latch a bit. Should take care of the issue. As for why? Couldn't tell ya.

As far as the location?

Remove the front plastic guard in front of the raidiator.
Remove grill portion.
Remove plastic cover of the latch you have to move to the side to open the hood.
Either 3 or 4 bolts, loose and tighten to position.
Test catching the hood.
Put evrything back.
Go to dealer and order all of the plastic push pins you broke or lost.
Give a WTF or two at tne price tag for the plastic pins.

Indeed, ~$2/ea for those damn pins.

Check to make sure the 2 rubber stoppers are screwed in enough at either side of the plastic cover. If they are too high, the hood will rest on them but not go down enough to lock. When I replaced my grill I didn't put them down enough at first and had the same issue.
