I am new to forums. I have an 6-6 coupe and would like to change trans fluid. I've purchased 3 liters of GM syncromesh and i'm ready to get at it. does anyone have any tips or tricks for this task. I haven't been under the car yet, i'm sure I can find the drain plug, but advise on where the filler can be located would be helpful

Well that was helpful....NOT

As a new poster, may I suggest getting a manual, or find the online version. I'm sure you can find the link to it on here with a little digging/SEARCH. That will take you many places.

Drain is on the bottom under the splash shield, filler is on the top under the intake. 2.2L is what you need.

As one of many on this forum who have made the switch to GM Friction Modified Synchromesh with great results, the OP has chosen the correct fluid. You will feel the difference almost immediately.
