the diameter is actually closer to the stock than 215/55R16s would be.
How do you figure this? A 205/60/15 is a 24.7" diameter. A 215/55/16 is a 25.3" diameter. A 225/55/16 is a 25.7" diameter. A 225/50/16 would be closest, at a 24.9" diameter.

I definitely wouldn't recommend the 225/55/16 in this case. For the money, why not a set of Pilot Exalto AS (225/50/16)? They can be had in that size in either an H or V speed rating.

Goodyear has been known in the past for having balancing issues. Lately it seems they've had less of an issue with this, especially on their car tires. But every now and then an issue pops up. Usually it's a bad tire or two, which is easily fixed. The only issue I know of with the Response Edge (besides the usual - "what a weird tread design" - statement) is the cost. But then again most people would complain even if they were dirt cheap, as it still means spending hard-earned moeny.
