simple thread- just post the following:

i'll go first!

Model Accord: 2004 LX 4 cylinder sedan

Best MPG: 34 on 90% freeway

Average MPG: 31

% Highway: 80

% City: 20

Model Accord: 2004 LX 4 cylinder coupe 5AT

Best MPG: 28 on 70% hwy - no traffic

Average MPG: 24-26

% Highway: 20-30 (no heavy traffic)

% City/bumper-to-bumper hwy: 70-80

my AC is on about 70% of the time

I really need to take a long road trip so I can see how much mileage she's really capable of.

Lately it really sucks: 22-23 mpg, 90% in town, at least half of it stop and go, with the a/c on pretty much always.
But my commute is only 20-25 minutes, so it isn't that horrible. Just my mpg.

On the highways, things look up, usually 33-35, with a best of 37.1 on a 150 mile highway trip.

K24/automatic

My best has been 36 mpg on a long highway trip at 55-60 mph or so
with a/c on. Don't know what it is around town.
This thread reminds me I must add 3 lbs to all my tires.

Model Accord: 2003 EXL Nav V6

Best MPG: 36 on Interstate 5 (not by me!) <if you don't count down hill on the grapevine right after a fill up....it was over 60> :)

Average MPG: ?? I get 15-17, he gets 25-28 around town, he'd do better if he drove the whole tank.

% Highway: .01

% City: 99.9 lots of lights, lots of cars.

A/C is always on!! (turned it off on a day of errands & it made no difference)

At this moment: 15.9 :dunno: I miss that "lead foot" commercial!! :lmao:

Model Accord: 2005 EX-L 4 cyl. AT Sedan - presently @ 3,234 miles (since May 6th)

% Highway: 15

% City: 85

Regular unleaded hit 2.55 here in Columbus Ohio. Until today we've been running between 2.10 and 2.35 the past 3-4 months

...I've seen on news sites with signs for 2.85+

Spikes anywhere else?

Model Accord: 2005 LX coupe, AT

Best MPG: 33 on 95% highway (to and from Anysia's place in pgh! :lmao: )

Average MPG: 23

% Highway: 15

% City: 85 (in NYC, no less!!!)

Too early to have real accurate numbers, but here's my first two partial tanks:

1st run, "testing" the car's response - 18.6 mpg

2nd run, driving it easy in town - 19.8

'05 EX-V6

Here's hoping that it gets better, but I already have over 10k miles on it.... :dunno:

Model Accord: 2005 EX V6 sedan

Best MPG: 29 on 95% freeway (tires @ 32#)

Added a line for "worst MPG" :)

I saw the prices in the 'hood....here....2.73 & 2.79 for reg. & up to 2.99....

Woohoo! I just acheived a new all-time best for my car today. 31.75mpg in 80% highway driving and about 5 miles was up a steep hill. I usually don't get to drive so much open road but today presented the perfect opportunity. :D

...34.5 is great fuel efficiency in any league. Since the six is in my new Coupe, what's the best fuel mileage numbers seen for the 3 liter V-6?

...all the best, ez.
