Does anybody have any ideas of what engine mods can be done to the 2005 hybrid? I want to put on a cold air intake but I can't seem to find anyone that's done it. Any other mods to suggest? The stock hybrid enginer has good power, but looking to increase the hp and torque.

Welcome to DA! Just remember the weakest link is the auto transmission, don't add to much.

Yeah, I know. But as a hybrid it wasn't all that great on mpg to begin with! I'm in the process of repainting the whole car, new wheels, etc. It's become a project car, so if there are some engine mods that I can do, that would be great. Getting more hp or maybe even a better sound from the car would be a plus over just the cosmetic improvements.

I'll post a few pics when I'm done with it in a couple weeks.

Hey thanks! Yes, the auto transmission is kind of a downside. Even with that, anything specific to suggest? Is thee a cold air intake that can be used on the hybrid or will it screw up the ECU? I was looking at the AEM V2 CAI which says it works on the 2005 Accord, but I can't find anything that says whether or not this is okay for the hybrid.

Check out greenhybrids.com. There is a specific Accord section. I'm not sure if they have performance mods, but might be worth a look anyway.
