Hello! I recently got inspired to make some DIY LED sequential tail lights and ordered all the electronics I’ll need to make them work. I picked up a spare tail light from a local junkyard to practice taking the lens off and no matter what I tried, I could NOT get the lens off without just cutting the housing with a dremel. Is there any better way that I’m not seeing? TIA

nope, Most tail lights are plastic welded and have to cut apart. Just make as clean of cut near the base as you can. That way, it will look clean when you have to weld it back together. I've done a set of Accord lights but Mitsubishi, Toyota, Dodge were all plastic welded. All the vids I've watched on youtube, they've always had to cut the tail light open as well. Hope it turns out well tho!!
