Help I need to know if anyone has ever replaced these. My right side broke and I was able to order replacements as well as struts. Hinges are the question??? How long would it take to do the job and what do you think it would cost (in hours)in both jobs. Can you do it yourself?? Looks like you have to open the head liner a bit but not sure how. Any help would be grateful.

Are the hinges bolted on or welded?

Of the hinge, the part that attaches to hatch has a hole for a bolt. The other part has a bolt that goes through the roof with a bolt attached. It has to be gotten by removing or lifting the head liner up to get to the bolt. My question is how do I pry or pot the head liner down a bit with out doing any damage to the head liner. What holds the liner in place so you can get to the nuts ??? Does the liner have clips that can be popped and reset for headliner repair or removal???
