Hello guys I don't see a lot of people talking about aftermarket parts so here goes nothing

Just bought a injen intake cold air
Install the intake everything went well no codes at all runs good the only thing was when I was testing the intake and when I stopped I kept smelling a burn rubber/clutch smell once I pulled over popped the hood i didn't smell anything I am guessing is only when I get on it over 5k rpms has anyone had this problem after installing there intake on a 9th gen accord any help would be great thank you

A buddy of mine drove through a big puddle and flodded his engine by sucking in water through his CAI.

did you launch your car at all? Reason I ask because I've read that these cars have a clutch resistrictor pill. What it does is it restricts the clutch from fully engaging to prevent shock to the drivetrain when under heavy load (essentially riding your clutch). You might want to remove that and test drive your car again.
