the coupe parts will fit. i think i totalled up the entire cost and it was around $250
Anyone from Canada knows a website where I can purchase this version? My car is a SPORT model, but I want to upgrade the side mirror with the LED blinker version. U.S version passenger side have the lanewatch camera which I dislike, it's also a reason why I didn't upgrade higher than SPORT when purchasing the car.
Someone from this forum in another thread say that the Canada version won't have that tiny lanewatch camera and it will be the same driver side mirror.
Thanks.
I may have misunderstood your question. If you don't like the lane watch camera why not have the switch on the turn signal stalk taken apart and set to always turn off the camera. That would be easier than replacing the right side mirror.Anyone from Canada knows a website where I can purchase this version? There's another thread about this. I looked up the part numbers... The coupe parts are the same as the sedan, except for the ex coupe (as passenger side has no camera). Buy the ex coupe mirror assembly, the led light assembly, and the harness and you're done. If no one does it before I can justify the expense to my wife, I'll gladly trust my own research and do it myselfI also hate the LaneWatch camera too, I already tried to buy the SideView mirror from the sport model (Canadian) but the parts guy over there said they won't sale parts for us customers, So I got to thinking how about the Accord coupe EX SideView mirrors they looks the same as the sedans, I'm currently waiting on my friend to let me borrow a SideView from a Ex Coupe he works in warranty claims at a Honda dealership as soon he gets one in I'm going to try it
Its the huge unsightly bulge in the passenger side mirror, not the camera's operation.I may have misunderstood your question. Do they make the other side to match? There's another thread about this. I looked up the part numbers... I'm not sure I follow, but the ex coupe passenger and driver side mirror are camera-less and match each other respectively. The driver side mirror shares the same part numbers as the sedan, so both mirrors should fit onto the sport's mounts. theoretically... i'd suggest saving the boxes they come in just in case lol. only thing i'm not so sure of is, if you plug in the new wire harness, if it will actually just make the turn signals work or not. also, interesting note, the led signal is the most expensive part of the swap. must be really spiffy.
I meant do they make a drivers side mirror with the camera? Perhaps sold in another market?I'm not sure I follow, but the ex coupe passenger and driver side mirror are camera-less and match each other respectively. You didn't upgrade to a higher model because of lanewatch? Makes NO sense. You could have just disconnected it. Lane watch is a superior feature. Makes more sense than the silly blinkers.:dunno:Anyone from Canada knows a website where I can purchase this version? sounds like he bought the sport, but wants factory LED turn signals. the hideous BULGE in the passenger mirror is what he doesnt want, because hideous bulge is hideous. i'd know, because i'm in the same boat. i'm not going to spend more to buy the camera mirror and have a hideous bulge that serves no purpose for me, nor will i go through the trouble to hook the camera up because i have eyeballs that work great and i keep a keen situational awareness. never swerved into someone (that wasn't pulling a jackass maneuver to materialize in the spot i was moving into). but i digress... the mirrors are a sleek upgrade. You didn't upgrade to a higher model because of lanewatch? Seriously? Huge and unsightly? Its the huge unsightly bulge in the passenger side mirror, not the camera's operation.
Or just turn it off in Vehicle Settings. Page 306 of the Manual explains how for those that want to.I may have misunderstood your question.
