I ordered the LED headlight hardness from Hardtopguy. They came in very fast which I was happy about after reading about how some people were not getting them for a few weeks after order. I just have a few questions though. I know that the plugs may be plug and play but I wanted to know if someone would point out to me which plugs goes into which connector. I will be having my local dealer do the install but I just want to make sure its easy for them.. and maybe any one in the future.

What is the closest equivalent overseas knock off to the VLED's V3's Amber LED Rear Signals and VLED's V3's Red LED Brake Lights?

There are no knockoffs of of the V3 Tritons.

However these may come close in brightness.

Also check out exLEDs offerings. Some of the recent reviews (of their 1157, 7443 LEDs) look favorable for daytime use.

I would go with the exLED if you don't want to spend money for the VLEDS. You will need to splice in resistors for the turn signals of course.
Due to the design of the exLEDs, it may fill the light housing even better than the V3 Tritons.

Always use red LEDs behind red brake light lenses. White LEDs, even when very bright, will always wash out the red lens to pink.

anyone have red LEDs on their non-LED tail lights? im wondering if it is necessary to buy 4, for the sake of matching the brightness when the parking lights are on.

Someone on here did it using VLEDS V3 Tritons.

Yes you will need to buy 4 LEDs, but the reason has more to do with color matching than brightness.

Red LEDs behind a red lens will produce a very deep red color whereas

Halogen bulbs behind a red lens produces a washed out red color.

However, be careful when choosing a LED for the inner taillight (running light), because the clearance/length is very limited. I would stick a pencil or something in there to gauge the max length.

I already searched in this topic but there are almost 300 pages and I could not read every things. :D
I have Kensun 6k HID's... Have had them for about a year now and no problems so far.

Place I mounted ballasts:

I also have the Kensun kit. I've had the 6k kit on for about 2 1/2 months now, zero problems. They also have great customer service.

I Just notice today that having the the touring headlights solves a small issue that I wanted to fix with the older headlights. I wanted the DRL LEDs to be on high power with the park lights on and back to low when the headlights go on. With the touring headlights it does this with no mods needed. Makes the purchase even more better!

Yesss!

That was the first thing I noticed, and I love it! Sometimes it would get a little dark outside, but not dark enough to use my low beams. I would want to use the DRL's without low beams, but while having my tail lights on for safety. I always hated how switching on the parking lights and tail lights switched the DRL's to half brightness.

With the EX-L V6 headlights, my DRL's would be full brightness when low beam/parking lights were off, half brightness with parking lights on, and half brightness with low beams on.

With the Touring headlights, my DRL's are full brightness when low beams/parking lights are off, full brightness with parking lights and tail lights on, and half brightness with low beams on.

I don't know if it's because of the headlights themselves, or the harness, but I absolutely love it!

AND...

I disabled my parking lights by putting electrical tape over one of the connectors on the bulb. This way the turn signal bulbs are off all the time, and my blinkers still function with 100% brightness. After I did that... my LED DRL's are also full brightness when I lock or unlock my car. Not really entirely sure why that happened... but I love it.

TLDR: My LED DRL's run at full brightness almost 100% of the time. They are only half bright when my low beams are on.

I'm a little jealous of your led beams but I just installed my V6 headlights and I have mine setup exactly how you guys are describing. Obviously my install was a DIY. But I just noticed that my parking lights don't turn on and I think it's cause the fuse is blown (still need to check in that). My turn signals are fine. But I kinda like it that way. What the heck is the point of the ugly amber parking light anyway?!
