It's funny, nobody seems to think of washing off the exhaust tip when washing the car. So easy, yet so effective. Nice save!

Thanks!

It’s easy to keep the exhaust clean with regular washing. I have a little OCD and it was bothering me. I’ll have the wheels off soon cleaning inside the rims, wheel wells and under carriage 🧐.

Test drove about 20 miles to see if the gas mileage error on my ScanGauge is related to the car. The Scangauge MPG figure was a pretty consistent 2 MPG lower than the car's trip meter, so I switched it with the ScanGauge I had in my Highlander which didn't exhibit any consistent error there. The error in the Accord ScanGauge went with it to the Highlander, while the Highlander ScanGauge seems to be accurate in the Accord. Guess I'll see if the erroneous ScanGauge can be repaired, or s**tcan it if it'll cost too much.

Interior detail - just bought it Tuesday and while clean it wasn’t “really clean” - and whatever the dealer was using to disenfect for coronavirus left a white residue.
Woolite then Lexol leather cleaner, Lexol leather conditioner then Lexol vinyl and it’s looking pretty good.

Over the past week, changed oil, bought and installed new cabin air filter as well as new LED low beam bulbs.

The last ones were working at reduced brightness.

Warranty replacement of battery this morning.

Thursday: spark plugs, new GMSFM MTF fluid, and diagnose a possible MTF leak.

So, I do indeed have a tranny leak. Not sure where, cause the roads are wet.

He drained a half quart out. That's all that was left.

I'm going to take it back up there early next week for further diagnosis...

EDIT: some pics of the leak in question...

drove through thunderstorms, killed a second raccoon this week, and i may be parking her until the MTF leak is fixed. noticing louder than normal exhaust noise while going up hills now. never had that before.

for what it's worth, i hit the raccoon on the left side of the vehicle this time. he/she ran right underneath my tires. had to chance to spare them.

Was able to get appointment at dealer today to replace the axle seal.

I'll let you know if my car quiets down afterwards...

UPDATE: I have either an exhaust leak, or intake leak somewhere. Noise does not change whether in gear or not...

That said, my car likes to kill things. This is after 15 minutes of highway driving.
