These are not traditional round nozzles with a slit. It's a larger rectangular opening so I used a small screwdriver to move it. They can almost be moved by just my fingers.^^^ how did you adjust the spray nozzle?
Excessive speed. Not good. Last Wednesday, an encounter with a VW Tiguan. Waiting for the State Farm adjuster to visit the collision shop. View attachment 548392
1. No leaks
2. No suspension damage.
3. No broken glass
4. No airbag deployment.
5. Bad Hood
6. Bad Grill
7. Bad both headlights.
I drove home.
No excessive speed here ! Airbags are not deployed. Why so much negativity???Excessive speed.
Lesson learned!
maybe. add an "older woman" failing to merge, one highway onto another. Fear of a high speed merge I suspect. Checked the blind spot, when I turned my head, there she was.Excessive speed.

Ahh, now I can picture it.Checked the blind spot, when I
turned my head, there she was.
Do you have a coupe? I sit pretty low. I added blind spot (sticker) mirrors from ebay. Checking the blind spot is an old habit. Plus at that spot, the main route is 65 mph and the 2 merge lanes are usually 40. So accelerating 30 mph is necessary.Ahh, now I can picture it.
Lemme ask something, how were-are your side view mirrors set up? The way I set those mirrors, on my car, I rarely ever have to ‘shoulder-check’ on highways.
From the drivers seat, do you see any of your own vehicle in your sideview(door-mounted) mirrors?Do you have a coupe? I sit pretty low. I added blind spot (sticker) mirrors from ebay. I have driven that spot at least 600x. Home from work over the last decade. Going 40+/- if the person ahead of you is going 20..... I still think that the other driver was fearful to merge into the other highway.
I'll post a message when State Farm gets done with me.
For the record, I have my side mirrors way out (correctly). Yet, I have almost side-swipped people still. From the drivers seat, do you see any of your own vehicle in your sideview(door-mounted) mirrors?
#1. That makes us two rare birds indeed! As far as almost sideswiping drivers even though, that has a lot to do with the physical positioning of the side view mirrors themselves, on the car. The best location for sideview mirrors is as far forward as possible, even on top of the left and right fenders:#1. For the record, I have my side mirrors way out (correctly). I continue to look over my shoulder if I am merging onto the highway, sometimes twice,
to be extra sure.
#2. Having your mirrors adjusted outward does minimize blind spits, but doesn't necessarily
eliminate them.

I taught my brother the same thing when he was learning to drive years ago...#1. That makes us two rare birds indeed! Not so far out from the driver and passenger doors that you have to turn your head from the road to see through them, as in most modern cars!
#2. No solution is perfect, but BGE(blindspot-glare-elimination) is a lot closer to it.![]()
Do you employ BGE(blind spot/glare elim.) setup? What most folks, Americans at least, are not initially comfortable with is not seeing any of their own vehicle in the side view mirrors. You definitely still need to do head checks, even with properly adjusted mirrors.
Nearly creamed a Hyundai Elantra one day by just looking in the mirrors- they
honked, I turned, and there they were, in a blind spot I didn't know I had.
Back in 2016, even driver's ed encouraged quick head checks. Just need to be
aware of your other surroundings when doing so.
No. With the eBay sticky blind spot mirrors, I do see some of the side of the car. Not much, and it's small. I always look to accelerate the gap when merging, the other day, the person ahead was slowing down to merge.....boom.From the driver's seat, do you see any of your own vehicle in your side view(door-mounted) mirrors?
As soon as you turn your head while merging, to look alongside you, that's when it will happen! No. With the eBay sticky blind spot mirrors, I do see some of the side of
