Hello all, any input would be appreciated. I got both the front bearings replaced a couple of months ago. The horrendous and annoying grinding noise is finally gone with the new bearings. However, after this job the VSA/ABS lights remained on after startup. I had the car scanned and it showed a "no pulse/signal" code on the right front wheel. I have now had that sensor replaced and those lights are still on... What gives? The car drives, shifts, and brakes fine even with those lights on but I am clueless as to how to proceed now.

I guessing maybe the ABS Tone ring is damaged? I replaced it on my girl's Ford Escape cause her ABS light was on. You might be able to see it if jack the car up and look at where the axle slides into the bearing. Not 100% sure if that could be you problem but figure Ill get you started in some direction.

Here is a picture of an axle and tone ring.

The sensor sits above this ring.

Thanks for the pointers. I had a chance to pull the wheel apart and everything looks fine. Does the bearing have anything to do with the ABS sensor?
