I have an 08 accord 2.4 with roughly 77000 miles. Car runs great. This morning the ac was working fine. But this afternoon, the ac was blowing out hot air. The rpm needle is hovering over 700 while in drive but goes down then back up again. I can hear the engine stutter at times, and the car feels like it wants to jerk foward. All while the car is in drive and I've applied the brakes. I see no leaks under the car. What do you guys think the issue is? The car has no issue when the ac is not engaged.

Check to see if your AC compressor Is spinning, if it is not you may have an AC clutch relay that's gone bad.

In your under the hood fuse panel, there are 2 identical solid state relays. One is for the AC Clutch and one is for the AC condenser fan. Switch these 2 with one another. If the clutch now activates and the condenser fan is not spinning, you have a bad relay. This will cost you about $25 for the part at your Honda dealer.
