After unexpectedly dropping almost $700 on a replacement front passenger side wheel bearing, CV axle and ABS sensor, I thought the 6-6 deserved "the works" to go along with its new inspection sticker. I gave it a wash, clay bar, paint correction and wax. After that all took way too much of my time, I took a little spin down some back roads out of town. Never seen this bridge before!
I will say that the Alabaster Silver is nothing short of a miracle paint. It's 13 years old, has been through brutal salty Maine winters, is never parked indoors, gets very little washing from me, but has zero clear coat damage or fading and very few chips. It takes a beating, hides dirt like crazy, and then when you wash it, it looks like a new car again. I don't get it. YOU da real MVP, Alabaster Silver.
