I've already done colored gauge needles on my Fit:








For the Accord gauge needles, you need to take apart part of the dash to access the cluster:
2013-2014 LCD screen removal

Using sharp scissors, you cut into red plastic duo tang type plastic.

Stick on using Clear Shoe Goo as this is completely removable.

You have to cut larger than the needles themselves as it needs to cover up the black parts, otherwise it won't stick properly and you'll see the adhesive on the lighted parts which looks bad.

It's a nappa leather cover that I had to sew myself that I bought off AliExpress. I am not the first to have an black all perforated cover with red stitching as I've already seen a few on here before I did mine.

The Accord is around the 8th cover I've done. 2 on my dad's CRV and I guess about 5 on my Fit, so I like to think I know what I'm doing.

Honestly this one for the Accord is the worst leather cover that I've ever worked with. There was too much material in most of it and I had to trim down some areas, and resew in some new anchor lines.

As an aside, the best way to sew on a leather cover is to disassemble part of the steering wheel.

I did disassemble my Accord's steering wheel. There are a lot of screws and it wasn't fun. No, I actually do not have a picture.

HUD on Honda Fit. OBD port only. All I wanted was water temp:





HUD on Accord. OBD or USB. All I wanted was time displayed:

Voltage meter (lower left of gauges). Fit known for crappy batteries and batteries dying. Have a high powered sound system so I needed a way to monitor voltage.



Same voltage meter. Placed here in front of gauges until I can determine a good spot regarding visibility in sunlight, then will install behind the clear cover.

Early stage of custom storage console. Top rack holds equalizer and bass knob.

Middle rack will eventually have wireless charging.

Bottom rack is just storage. I have a few ideas for the cigarette lighter outlet, input interfaces for USB and even HDMI.

I will wrap in some vinyl to see how it goes before moving onto either PU pleather, or real leather.

I will eventually put in a backlight tied into the interior lights.
