Hey,
Im thinking of buying an apple carplay headunit for my Honda Accord, im looking on videoes where people are setting it up, but seems that my interior is different compared to the 9th gens that im looking at.

These pictures might explain better.

The videos im watching have this interior

Mine has one of these.

Has anyone done a headunit replacement on my type of interior and dashboard design?
Do you have any recommendations to what product to buy?

For refrence heres one of the videoes I watched:

You’re going to save yourself some time and aggravation by going to Crutchfield’s website and shopping by vehicle. Even if you don’t buy your equipment there, you can see what the options are for Accords with the factory nav system (what you have), and what kinds of parts you’ll need to make it work. Crutchfield is a reputable company that’s been around since forever. Spend some time reading through the options there, and then make a list of what options fit your budget.

Good luck!!

Another option to consider is Navtool, which would allow you to add Android Auto/Apple Carplay to your existing NAVI screen as well as other addons like a backup camera, all while using the same factory screen. If I had a NAVI model this is probably what I would look at.

That sounds good! Do you have good recommendations for navtools?
From what I can see they're pretty expensive, finding 400$ for one
They are expensive, but that's because they're specialized to work with the individual cars while retaining factory features. From what I have heard it is a quality product.
