and there's been some people having difficulty installing AGT on their map lights.

i will just do exterior lights though. i kinda like the warm glow of incandescent light inside. has a calming effect to me.

probably because he has a 10 pack, 5 left over and it's a pain in the a$$ with shipping and such, to buy more that don't show anywhere once they're mounted..and trust me. others are not THAT much brighter that it's worth the effort...I can read a small text bible in the car now at midnight, I don't need to see into the pores of my passenger's face....LOL

glen... that makes sense, I have my bag of LED, HID and other lighting parts too. I just didnt understand why you would buy a bulb that didnt fit for this purpose. If you already have them, mod away.

You have a ton of 194's there. Assuming for the DRL mod. What did you end up finding was the brightest?

or the college hills 194 that comes in their kit....

the small Cree was the brightest long distance but was pinpoint ...the side firing cree was not any better than the above...

So I just installed the AGT LEDs in my dome light and trunk light. I have to say I'm a little disappointed. For some reason, they LEDs are really dim. It doesnt really light up the interior or the trunk.

It seems like my stock bulbs are brighter than the LEDs. Anyone else have the same issue?

Yes. I compared them with the cheapo eBay ones I got two years ago for my Odyssey and the AGTs are definitely dimmer. I actually like it that way. I'm sure the day I need a lot of light I'll be sorry I didn't swap them out.

I thought the AGT were going to be brighter. Guess I assumed wrong. Although it is too dim for my taste since it seems like I can barely see anything and I tested the lights out at night too.

I agree. Much too dim wheh used in the dome light.
