of course the install will take longer than they expected.
so, I have to pick it up tomorrow :(

but it will give them more time to adjust it.

also, talked to the tech and he swore there was no Mic for the ANC on the rear deck when he was putting in the Roadkill.

I mentioned that if there is one in the front, then there must be one int he back. He did not get that far yet.

I would have rather used the harness available here from mercman (Jeff), but I am hoping the LCQ will give me more frequency adjust-ability.

Question: I was going to tell them to not add the BASS adjusting knob (from prior experience, once set it usually did not need adjusting and I am not sure WHERE to put it...I like keeping things looking original)....any thoughts?

The rear mic in the 9th gen models is in the headliner, not in the rear deck. The bass knob is completely up to you. Most PG amps use the knob as a remote gain, not as a bass boost knob so it might be more worth while.
thanks for confirming it is in the rear deck :) (Going in the Coupe)

not sure where I would put the base knob, maybe in the pocket to the left of the steering wheel, under the vent. Guess it would be better to have and not want, then want and not have. As I know I will not put it in later

Disconnecting the ANC mics does not stop the ANC module(slightly bigger than a Zippo lighter) from sending cancellation tone to your EX or higher trim stereo. You have to disconnect the module from the head unit, or gut power to the ANC module altogether.
