I got some 8000ks with some blue angel eyes but haven't gotten them installed yet.

everyone is apprehensive about doing the angel eyes because moisture can get inside when opening up the glass protecting the lights

anyone know of places in Northern Cali Bay Area that can do angel eyes? this is lame

:dunno: you can do it yourself aslong as you reseal the headlights with new silicon.

I understand your hesitation about doing them, but I'd say go for it yourself - I'm pretty sure there is some guides out there and just be careful and be sure to seal them good...

I think the hardest part for me is the idea of putting my headlights in the oven lol

you can also use a heatgun to open them up if you have one.

i used a heat gun on mine. the black plastic turns into butter when heated so i feel the gun will give you more control.

My mom looked at me weird when I threw my friends s14 lights in the oven a few years ago. She never let me use it since.

lol so what tempurature and how long are we cookin the headlight for?

^^ To close them back up you would have to reheat the original silicon to make it soft by putting iboth the clear lense and back piece back in the oven or heat gun. Once the silicon is soft, you can just push it together....very easy to do!

hmm i think i might just end up blacking out the orange side lense myself with some matte black paint..

just smoke the lens, then atleast light will shine thru at night when you use your signal.

it would need to be a dark tint, id think the orange will shine through when in the sun

it's so funny that you guys are saying it's easy but the pros are telling me that its really difficult and they are hesitant..

maybe i'll look for a DIY here and show it to my shop....

anyone got a link???

i was told installer's avoid them due to legal issues with headlights :dunno:
