After driving any amount of distance, the sides of my hood and especially my fenders start to get hot, right near where the airbox/fusebox area, but on both sides.

Strange thing is they're perfectly cool unless I've been driving an exceptionally long distance, when my hood gets hot (normal), but no matter what, the hood and fenders in that area start rising in temperature about five minutes after I park. Anybody else notice this?

I've got a 2003 4cylinder, for the record.

also if you notice on the used carbon fiber hoods people try to sell the area faded on the hood are in reach of the sides as well, well noticable on the sun you know carbonfiber doesnt hide the fading areas from the heat.
