I know that alarms are all different, however, installation must be generic for all models except for installing different options such as trunk opener, remote start, etc...

I want to buy an alarm and do it myself because I enjoy it:banana:

Maybe one of you guys with a 8th Gen Coupe did it already and dont mind posting.

^^ thats another great link for an alarm install, make sure you have a digital multimeter with a wire probe(it lets you pierce a wire for testing without cutting it)and good inline wire stripper/soldering iron, you might also need a relay or two and diodes for door triggers for starters and lots of electrical tape lol ....

it might sound like a lot but i think its pretty rewarding when its all said and done...

AND meter every wire before making a connection..
dont expect support from the company such as dei compustar etc, or for them to honor the products warranty usually they only like to deal with shops and not individuals....
