And of course, can you comment on your findings, Camry Hybrid vs. Accord Hybrid. Maybe someone owns both, chime in :)

Particularly interested in how well each drives compared to the other.

TIA.

I preferred the Accord over the Camry. Camry just seems cheap to me as far as tactile surfaces, seat fabric/leather, etc. Plus, I think the hybrid technology is more advanced in the Accord. However, there is something to be said for "tried and true."

I was planning all along to get the Accord Hybrid once it was released. However, in the end, I ended up going with an Avalon hybrid for a couple reasons. 1. Accord hybrid trunk too small for my needs. 2. I received a better discount on the Avalon which made the price even. 3. The Avalon interior appealed to me more than the Accord. 4. I like the fact there are fewer Avalons on the road vs. Accords.
Interesting. I'm actually renting an Avalon from Toyota this afternoon. The new ones are said to drive much better than old ones. It'll be the V6 conventional though. This dealer doesn't rent Avalon hybrid.

I test drove Camry Hybrid last year and it was nice, but snoozy. I still dislike the 2" to the right offset steering wheel though. Check it out: Sit behind drivers seat, look at the wheel compared to the seat, way off. Oh what a feeling!

Where did you read about that BS? :lmao:
Trust me, there is no offset.
Ooops, you're about to eat your words...

This is what I'm talking about. Look at Accord. Steering wheel centered in front of the seat. Easy to see where wheel falls in relation to knees in a car.

No camera tricks, headrest posts show that

2013 Avalon which pretty sure has Camry chassis... look at seat seams up to wheel edges.

Wow, that's wild. Must be a mechanical thing, I can't imagine they wanted to lean you towards the center of the road. :D
Certainly not the only car to have offset. It shows up in VW Passat and Ford C-Max to name a few ....

but I've never seen a Honda with offset wheel / gages / seat. :)

:lmao: All that "geometry" is way off. Vertical lines on the picture do not match the interior vertical. Rent a Camry, get a measuring tape, laser level, plumb-bob and do your home work :).
BTW, the Avalon based on a different platform.
No, you do homework and show that it's inline. Already did my homework. :lmao:
