I am looking to add a little bit of bass to my accord for not too much price. I did some research and it seems like the Kicker 11HS8 powered subwoofer would be the best bet. I am not looking for a huge amount of bass, just a bit more feel to all the notes.

Has anyone installed either of these subs in any of their vehicles? I really want to put it in this week...

Did you end-up installing this? I am looking at using it and am curious about your outcome. I did see MJL's post (thanks!).

I spoke to Crutchfield today and they are suggesting I use the Audio Control LC2i rather than using Bass Blockers (both links below). While there is about $95 difference in the install, I am really not sure which is the best way to go.

My concern with the Bass Blockers is they leave a 20-30Hz hole in the range between the top end of the Basslink crossover (120Hz) and the Bass Blockers (150Hz at 4 Ohm).
