I experienced the grommet inside the spark plug wrench being stuck on the plug. The problem was resolved by applying WD 40 around the plug and using one of the hooked tools in a kit that was purchased at Harbor Freight for $2.00. You will need a long thin screw driver to finish retrieving the grommet. You will need to be patient as the tools are short.
