I have an 08 accord and my dash displays the D on the P R N D 3 2 1, blinks as well as the VSA indicator. It goes on and off when it feels like it. Does anyone know what the issue is? and possibly a solution..? i havent encountered the same situation anywhere on line, with the same year and model.

It is telling you there is a problem. Assuming it's in warranty get it to the dealer.

Idk what it means on the 8th gens but in the 6th gens when the D light flashes it means the trannies shot to hell.

aw man... i dont have a warranty . i went over 36k miles.. i hope its not the trannie. i was hoping its a sensor malfunction.

The powertrain warranty is 60/60,000. It was changed back in 2006. Hopefully, it helps your issue.

Take it to the dealer asap. Blinking "D" usually means the transmission has gone kaput
