Hi guys,

I’m trying to buy Akebono brake pads for my 2010 Honda Accord Ex-L 4-cyl sedan, but I’ve been getting conflicting information. On RockAuto it says I should buy ACT1336 for the rear and ACT914 for the front. However, on both Amazon.com and TireRack, it says I should buy ACT1336 for the rear which agrees, but the front is shown as ACT787 instead. Can anyone help me confirm which part is correct for the front of my car? Is it ACT914 or ACT787? I think there are two different calipers for different accords. How can I tell which caliper I have? I couldn't find any markings on it.

I found a quote from this thread but the pictures don't load.

"If your OEM caliper is NISSIN then you WILL need Akebono ProAct 787.
If your OEM caliper is Akebono then you WILL need Akebono ProAct 914.

Here is a thread I found on cb7tuner.com that has pictures of the different calipers: >> Akebono VS Nissin - CB7Tuner Forums "

787 is for the bigger 11.8 rotor on the EX and up trims. 914 is for the base LX 11.1 rotor. The Akebono VS Nissin is not applicable for our cars.
