Buying advice. accord coupe 2010 vs accord sedan 2013

I have been on these forums for sometime now due to my little brother having an 8th gen, now it's my turn to purchase. Need advice which to purchase.
2010 certified accord coupe 16k$ 30k miles
Or
2013 accord sedan 20k$

I can get the coupe now or wait 3 months and get the sedan

I love the sports look of the coupe and I can invest in the coupe (remote start,upgrade wheels) or should I wait and get the basic model 2013 sedan brand new car and keep it stock for awhile

My job only entitles me to get only what I have mentioned.

What do you guys think?

You question is too vague. We have no idea what you are going to use the car for and we need more info on the cars. What kind of coupe? 4 cylinder? 6 cylinder? EX, EXL? etc etc...

It's also tough to answer because you are comparing a 4 door vs. 2 door. It really comes down to how you're going to use it. if you prefer sporty over practicality get the coupe. if you prefer practicality over sporty get the sedan. No brainer.
Yea sorry, 4cyl for both and both base models, daily driver

Thanks

Also one more noob question, if you want to save a thread how do you save (sticky) the thread ?
I would go for the coupe because the mileage and price is pretty good. I have 2 kids and a wife... haven't had issues with getting them in and comfortable lol. Don't know what your needs are though.

I think a mod has to "sticky" the thread but you can subscribe to it using the "thread tools" drop down menu on the upper left of the thread.
Yea true, and sot likely gunna get the coupe , appreciate your help
Wait and get the sedan the price is not that much of a difference what the year is!
I would go for new car with factory warranty. Plus interest rate should be lower on new car.
Definitely the sedan. Lower interest rate on new cars. A TON more features on the 2013 sedan. You don't get many features on the old 2010 base model coupes. You'll be much happier with the 2013. The 2013 sedan looks pretty good too.

If the coupe was an EX-L or V6 EX-L then you should get it. However, base model vs base model, 2013 is significantly better.
2010 = 8th Gen
2013 = 9th Gen

7th Gen and 8th Gen have the same exact engine/trans....

But the 9th Gen? It has that new "earthdreams" engine and CVT (auto) transmission. If you jump over to the 9th Gen forum, you will learn a few things:

1) The 2013 and 2014 owners are pre-occupied with which scent to choose when they drop off the car at the detail shop (this is a joke, kind of) The cars are new so no questions about maintenance or repair yet....

2) The 2013's Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) takes some getting used to, but delivers very good mpg as many members report 38 and 39 mpg on the highway.

3) The 9th Gen is loaded with tech goodies.

Good luck on your decision....either way- you win because it is a Honda.

Buy 2010 for 16k and spend the remaining 4k on strippers.
9th with a manual. You will love the car.
strippers it is :lmao:

thanks for the advice, I think i will go with the 9th gen lower interest+more basic features>basic 8th gen coupe
