Hey guys,

I just joined this forum because I will be joining the accord world here very soon, possibly this weekend. I just graduated college and I am buying a 2011-2012 Honda Accord ex-l coupe v6. My question to you guys is what color should i go with?!? I wanted blue.. but it seems blue is very rare to find used and for a good price. So I brought it down to two options. San marino red, or grey. Do you guys have any advice on this??? here are the two cars I am possibly buying this weekend, please any advice will help.

I ask because I have heard the red can fade... I just dont know what color will look better or what color I will get sick of. I plan on tining the tail lights, tinting the windows right away.

Both choices would be good although I might opt for the newer vehicle.

Not sure who told you red fades but you can ignore that. Modern cars are clear coated which protects them from UV rays. 30 years ago car paint can fade. Not really a problem today.

blue is a rare color. i liked it in red when i was buying but did NOT like the light brown interior (stains and hard to keep clean). in the end I went with the PMM (dary gray) and I'm happy with the choice.

Honestly either will be fine.
Checkout the maintenance section. Glenn has a nice write up on washing, claying, polishing, waxing your car. That will be the key to having good color for years to come.

I would say go with the Grey one. It's a better deal! Lower miles and cheaper price from what I saw. Plus I feel like the grey will look better over time and hides dirt well too.
